This year will mark the 70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz and Hebro Travel, a tour operator for “gay Jews and those who love us,” will host a 9-day Jewish history and culture tour across Poland and the Czech Republic from August 8-16, 2015.

“Marking the 70th anniversary of the Auschwitz liberation, I feel extremely excited to offer the Jewish gay community a trip that combines the history of its past with the promise for its future,” says Jayson Littman, Founder & President of Hebro Travel. “I look forward to continuing the tradition of offering dynamic vacations that weave together culture, community, and pride into the ultimate getaways!”

The trip will explore, commemorate and celebrate the past century of the Jewish experience in the region, from life before the Holocaust to today – including the first-ever gay Jewish group tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau and Theresienstadt Concentration Camps. There will also be a private memorial service for the thousands of gays who perished at the Camps, visits of the Schindler’s List route and Prague’s Jewish Quarter, and will culminate on a joyous note with participation in Prague Pride.
