Registration Opens For AGBL Summer 2015 Season



The Austin Gay Basketball League announced that registration for their 10th season is now open. The Summer 2015 season will start on June 11, 2015 and run through August 27, with games played on Thursday nights at the Austin Sports Center at 425 Woodward Street, across from St. Edward’s University.

Registration is open through Monday, May 11. The fee to register is $60 when registering on or before Monday, May 4. During the late registration period from Tuesday, May 5 through Monday, May 11, the registration fee is $65. All new players must attend a ratings session before they will be assigned to a team. Dates for upcoming sessions will be provided at registration.

This season, in addition to the recreational and competitive divisions, the league will be introducing an advanced division for the more skilled players. These skills-based divisions help create a smaller skills gaps between players within each division and ensure a more balanced and competitive playing environment and hopefully a funner season.
