Are you curious about mindfulness? In these unpredictable times, mindfulness is an essential skill to ground yourself and practice self-care which helps to decrease stress and promote physical wellbeing, productivity and creativity.In this free weekly drop-in workshop, designed for LGBTQ entrepreneurs, you will learn practical tools that you can use to practice mindfulness strategies in your personal and professional life. The workshop virtually connects a friendly group of like-minded people led by queer Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher Gabriel Cooper. MBSR is a 30-year-old evidence-based program which is highly respected in the medical and psychological community. This weekly workshop is an introduction to the world of mindfulness and participants can expect to:

  • Practice mindfulness meditation techniques that harness calm, increase focus and support productivity;
  • Learn and discuss mindfulness strategies applicable to everyday life, and;
  • Access additional resources to enhance overall wellbeing and continue mindfulness skill development.

This course is suitable for both beginners (no meditation experience required) and for experienced meditators looking to deepen their practice and understanding of mindfulness.
