About Frida Friday ATX

Frida Friday ATX is a movement for gender and economic justice. We create markets and cultural spaces that help bridge the wage gap that WoC disproportionately experience, and center, amplify, and connected WoC artisans, local artists and those most economically marginalized. We grow WoC-led economies by offering economic opportunities & education. We believe our communities deserve to be seen and celebrated, so we create culturally rich, diverse spaces that celebrated LatinX and other WoC communities.

Over the last two years, Frida Friday ATX has proudly brought ATX over FOURTY market and events, worked with over 250 emerging artists and contributed more than $200,000 to the local economy. Every month, we hire & collaborate with local DJ’s, photographers and artists’ to create to support locally driven events, and to ensure we contribute to local economy. We believe in womxn supporting womxn, and we’re super proud of the space we’ve been able to provide to our community. Over the last year, we opened ALL of our events to ALL to apply. We continue to prioritize WoC in all that we do, and we know that creating spaces that include ALL of our community members, with a special focus on all economically marginalized peoples, is essential to creating a robust and truly diverse economy.
