Caron G. is the Strategy & Program Manager at ICA, where she is responsible for developing and implementing innovative programming to support growth focused companies working with ICA to help close the gender and racial wealth gaps. Prior to joining ICA, Caron’s professional experience spanned industries in health and beauty, education, international grantmaking and small business incubation—with specific roles in operations, programs and executive administration. Caron received an MBA from the Lorry I. Lokey School of Business and Public Policy at Mills College and a Bachelor’s in Marketing Communications from Emmanuel College.
Neda Amidi serves as a Partner and Global Head of Health at Plug and Play. She leads investments in digital health and biotech startup companies. She is responsible for global partnerships with corporations including Johnson & Johnson, Cleveland Clinic, Sanofi, Roche, and others. Prior to Plug and Play, Neda worked at Zamzee, a wearable technology startup for teens and Zong, a mobile payment startup which was acquired by PayPal for $240 million.
Angelic Williams (moderator) is the Founder and CEO of MyUmbrella: a social networking platform for the LGBTQ+ community rooted in Wellness, Inclusion, Social and Education. She is a third-generation entrepreneur and grew up in a family of small business owners and was intimately involved with the day to day operations. As a result, she’s well versed in the grit and perseverance required to start, sustain and grow a business. Prior to founding her company, she was an architectural designer for various civic buildings and the lead developer manager for affordable and workforce housing projects in the Bay Area and New York City.
