Published

on

Former college basketball player turned hip-hop artist, Brooklyn-based Will Sheridan launched his Kickstarter campaign at therepubliqfest in Austin during SXSW last month to help fund his second full-length album, a follow-up to his debut album G.I.A.N.T., titled GIANT II: Journey. The LP will feature 10-12 tracks along with videos for designated singles.

The campaign, with a goal of $50,000, runs through Fri, May 8 2015 10:59 PM CDT. Rewards are available with pledges starting at $20. The largest reward is a live show (travel costs not included) with a pledge of $500 or more.

In addition to covering the cost of production and both physical and digital distribution of the album, campaign funds will also help fund a tour to support the album along with covering the start-up cost of an online merchandising store. Revenue generated from the online store will help fund future projects.

Sheridan will be promoting the Kickstarter campaign with a performance in Chicago on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at 8 PM at the Scarlet Bar (3320 N Halsted St, Chicago IL 60657) and another in San Francisco on Sunday, May 3, 2015 at a Swagger Like Us party.
