If you were lucky enough to catch them when they were in Austin during SXSW, including at our own unofficial showcase, therepubliqfest, you’ll be happy to hear that Violet and the Undercurrents has released their first music video. “Chasin’ The Sun”, directed by Sean Thiessen, features the band members in a cute pirate-meets-school-play inspired fantasy sequence.

An all-female band fronted by Violet Vonder Haar on lead vocals and guitar, the Columbia, Missouri-based Violet and the Undercurrents also features Linda Bott on bass guitar, Phylshawn Johnson on drums and Lizzy Weiland on lead guitar.
