Utah-born, New York-based singer-songwriter and actor Justin Utley released the video for his 2010 award-winning single, Stand For Something, as a tribute to the victories made in the fight for marriage equality but also a reminder that there is still more work on the LGBTQ front.

Originally released in June 2010, Stand for Something was written to inspire and motivate to take action towards securing LGBT equality in America, ending youth homelessness, and increasing community awareness. The single was nominated for four OutMusic Awards by the LGBT Academy Of Recording Arts, including Best Songwriter and Artist of the Year, winning the award Best Country/Folk Song of the Year.
