On May 22, the Republic of Ireland will become the first country in the world to put the issue of marriage equality to the people through a referendum. The campaign for marriage equality is already well underway back in Ireland. Seeing all the great campaigning, support and hard work being put in by the ‘Yes Equality’ side, Johnny Holden felt the need to try and do something in support and so wrote this song – Nobody Needs to Know – a tribute to all the LGBT people who have lived in days gone by when things were even harder than they are now.
