Queerbomb 2012

Published

Add one part queer pride with one part Austin and add a splash of Mardi Gras, a pinch of Carnaval, and about 5,000 individuals from all corners of society and you got yourself a little Queerbomb. Austin’s 3rd Annual Queerbomb, featuring a rally and procession through Austin’s Entertainment District, celebrates the Stonewall riots and honors the courage of those who have laid the groundwork for the gay rights movement. The event started with a rally at Pine Street Station, followed by a procession down Austin’s 6th Street and back up 7th Street with stops in front of Rusty’s and Lipstick 24. The evening was capped off with an after-party back at Pine Street Station.
