Gay Dads Featured in New Ad For Campbell’s Star Wars Soup

In their first major brand push in five years, Campbell Soup has launched its “Real, Real Life” Campaign, which aligns with the soup giant’s corporate purpose of “real food that matters for life’s moments,” featuring spots showing the diverse mix of the today’s American families.

One spot features a real-life gay couple, Larry Sullivan and David Monahan, along with their son, Cooper, sharing an intimate family moment as they feed him Campbell’s Star Wars soup, while each dad tries to do their best James Earl Jones as Darth Vadar telling Cooper: ‘I am your Father.’
