TODAY, the Vice President cast the tie-breaking vote in the Senate on a vote to move forward with repealing Obamacare. The vote, which was initially postponed as Senator John McCain of Arizona was recovering from surgery following the removal of a brain tumor, opens the Senate to days of debate and votes on the repeal and replacing Obamacare.

Regardless of what the Senate approves, it will still need to clear the House. More on that as details develop.

ISIS has been publicly killing gay and bisexual men. Now … the gays are fighting back. The International Revolutionary People’s Guerrilla Forces, a group of international volunteers fighting with Kurdish forces in Northern Syria announced the formation of a new LGBTQ fighting group … The Queer Insurrection and Liberation Army, or TQILA for short.

In the announcement, TQILA is said to be ready to “smash the gender binary and advance the women’s revolution as well as the broader gender and sexual revolution.”

It continues … “TQILA members have watched in horror as fascists and extremist forces around the world have attacked the Queer community and murdered countless of our community members citing that they are ‘ill’, ‘sick’ and ‘unnatural’. The images of gay men being thrown of roofs and stoned to death by Daesh [another name for ISIS] was something we could not idly watch,”.

Donald Trump’s Presidency is swirling down the toilet. As he threatens to bring us all down with him, we will recap the insane week that we have had since we told you last week that he had JUST fired the Director of the FBI James Comey. Also in the studio, we have the author of a new book about the essential life lessons he’s learned from his experiences with celebrities and high society jet-setters called “Being In The Room,” Rob Giardinelli joining us here in the studio. Plus, our friends with the Octopus Club are throwing the “Sexiest Party of the Year” this weekend and we’ve invited the Octopus Club’s Dylan Paschall in tonight to tell us all about ArtErotica 2017.

How do you find your voice and learn from experiences where you feel like a fish out of water? Join Rob Giardinelli, a technology executive-turned-expert social chronicler as he navigates the world of million dollar high society galas and celebrity soirées. Covering the high-flying Texas social world for The Society Diaries magazine, he’s found himself thrust into situations he’d never imagined. Giardinelli learns to be comfortable in unfamiliar spaces, ultimately learning how to gain incredible insight around well-known, influential figures and chronicling their high-flying lifestyles in the process. Encountering remarkable personalities – including socialites, celebrities and corporate tycoons – Giardinelli learns from their unfiltered authenticity and distills those experiences into lessons for everyday life. As with many books featuring notable and successful people, pseudonyms have been used to these well-known personalities. Whether poignant, pragmatic or simply outrageous, each insight is gained by following the fundamental principle: the best lessons are learned by putting yourself in places you’d never expect. By being in the moment… by Being in the Room.
