Oilcan Harry’s presents Red Hot 2015

Red Hot returns to the heart of the Warehouse District and 4th Street as Oilcan Harry’s hosts “The Summer Party” to raise money for Project Transitions on Friday, July 17, 2015. Now in its 24th year, Red Hot 2015 features live entertainment, food, a silent auction and specialty cocktails from 6-9 PM. The event is sponsored by Red Stag from Jim Beam and supported in part by event hosts.

This year features live entertainment by the Austin Babtist Women along with special guest performers, as well as food from downtown restaurants and caterers, including Sushi Zushi, who will be serving up made-to-order sushi.

One of the highlights of the event is the silent auction and this year’s items includes autographed Broadway posters, weekend getaways, dinner and performing arts ticket combos and more. Featured items include tickets to the Grammy Award-winning artist Sam Smith at the Frank Erwin Center, tickets to Kinky Boots and The Little Mermaid at the Bass Concert Hall at the Texas Performing Arts, a pair of wristbands for SXSW, and plenty of electronics, including a laptop, 3-D Blu-Ray player, an Apple TV, and Apple watch and more.

And because all the event costs were covered by the sponspor and event hosts, all money raised at the event, including proceeds from the silent auction, tips to the entertainers and donations at the door go directly to Project Transitions, a 501(c)3 non-profit, serving Central Texans living with HIV and AIDS by providing hospice, housing, and support in a compassionate and caring environment. Since it started, Red Hot has raised over $293,000 for Project Transitions.

Red Hot is Friday, July 17, 2015 at Oilcan Harry’s from 6-9 PM. There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. Oilcan Harry’s is open to ages 18+.
