There’s lots going on at the oldest gay bar in Austin. Besides the giant LED screen that dominates the dance floor, the weekend lineup got a shuffle … the first major one in a very long time. They’ve split up the Friday night dueling deejays — DJ Kavika and DJ Eriq Stylez — and gave Friday nights to DJ Kavika while DJ Eriq Stylez takes over Saturday nights.
The man wrangler Mackey Ray as moved out from behind the bar during happy hour and you can find him in the booth now running the lights and visuals on the weekends. Plus, Mackey will be spinning for afterhours on Fridays after DJ Kavika and Saturdays after DJ Eriq Stylez from 1 to 3 AM each night starting on Friday, May 6, 2016.
The six season of Drag Survivor kicks off on Wednesday, May 4. Contestants compete against one another to outsync, outshine and outshade their way to the $1000 cash prize through weekly challenges. Find out each week who moves on and who gets eliminated starting at 11 PM each Wednesday night.

The second semester of Drag Class, hosted by Sabel Scitites, wrapped up last month with Lawhore Vagistan and her mentor Rhonda Jewels — The Jewels of The Orient — taking home the top honor, including a $1000 cash prize. Third semester kicks off Tuesday, August 16. Until then Sabel Scities presents Showstopper, an open mic-style drag competition, every Tuesday night. Sign up from 8:30 – 9:30 PM, with the contest starting at 10 PM. $100 in cash prizes with $75 for first place and $25 for second place. Winners selected by audience response.
