Doors open at 8 PM with food being served out on the patio along with music for your dining entertainment. At 10 PM, Clarkisha will open with a little dirty acoustic pop out on the patio followed by the Austin-based hip/hop rap duo, Gender Benders at 11 PM. DJ Gayburn from the Gender Benders will continue through the night with a deejay set until close.

In its second year, the OUTlander Fall Music Festival is one of the largest showcases of LGBTQ musicians in Texas. In Austin, the only larger event is The OUTlander Project's OUTlander Spring Music Festival held during South by Southwest and featured nearly 50 acts, including an all-female showcase that featured 20 female muscians. The OUTlander Project works to help promote live music and promote out artists to the LGBTQ community.
The OUTlander Project also hosts a monthly showcase showcasing two out artists at Rusty's. The next OUTlander Second Saturday Showcase will be held Saturday, October 13, 2012 during the ACL Festival Weekend starting at 9 PM and will feature local singer-songwriters Mike Burns and Gina Chavez. There are currently plans to add other similar showcases around Austin in 2013.
